Hi All
On the surface we appear to have been quiet, but with a little help from the DFAT Business Partner Program we have been working quite hard developing an independent protected maintenance fund to look after our systems well into the future. It is something that seems not to have been done previously in the South Pacific for small scale technical infrastructure. So, while a little ambitious, we are making great headway and I look forward to reporting its launch on my next update. When launched it will be a model for other deliverables such as health centres and for other countries.
In June we mobilised to Rabi Island in the North East of Fiji. It’s quite a remote school where we installed a 6 kw system for the school and four teachers’ homes – including full wiring of all the buildings. Please take a moment to check out the video and links below with the all the details.
